Managing Partner
Mark Ivanyo is a founding member of Ivanyo & Leyva, PLLC. His practice has included a focus on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on product liability, construction defects, wills and probate, premises liability, and contract law. Mark has also practiced at defense firms in Houston, Texas, where he primarily focused on defending employers and insurance companies against personal injury claims within state district courts, arbitration, and in both state and federal administrative law courts. Additionally, he has represented insurance companies in subrogation lawsuits arising out of personal injury claims.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the McCoy College of Business Administration at Texas State University – San Marcos in 2011. He then graduated and earned his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 2018. While in law school, Mark interned as a law clerk at the Harris County Appraisal District, Department of Justice – Appellate Division, and under the Honorable Mike Wood at Probate Court No. 2. Additionally, Mark earned a Top Oralist award in the 2017 Intramural Moot Court Tournament.
Also while in law school, Mark served as the president of the Federalist Society - South Texas College of Law Chapter, and was an officer and active member of Delta Theta Phi. Mark was licensed to practice law in the State of Texas in 2018.
